CMP’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) work comprises activities outside the company’s core business as well as activities that exceed legal and other formal regulatory requirements. The company’s CSR activities focus on areas like social measures, support and training measures and environmental and safety measures.
In 2010 CMP will be producing an internal catalogue of the company’s CSR activities, partly to provide an overview of the measures being taken and partly to establish common guidelines for how to conduct CSR activities over the longer term. The following activities illustrate CMP’s current CSR work:

- Danish Government Seamens Service and the equivalent organisation in Sweden
- Grants to the Swedish Sea Rescue Society and Maritime Museum in Malmö
